To Know Christ...
...And To Make Him Known
Bloomer Baptist Church
Thank you for your faithfulness in supporting God's work through this church and its ministries. We believe that giving is an act of worship where we trust God to use our tithes and offerings to work in this church, this community, and this world. If you cannot give in person at a worship service we have created this page and partnered with PayPal to accept online giving.
You can give with your debit (or credit) card or directly from your bank account and PayPal will process it. The funds will be added to our PayPal account where our church treasurer can withdraw the funds directly into the church's bank account. You should see the funds transfer from your account instantly. You will receive an emailed receipt from PayPal immediately, and your yearly giving statement will include these funds as well.
Yes. PayPal is a trusted source for handling donations online. They have layers of security to protect your personal and financial information, and none of this information is shared with the church except for your name and donation amount. You can read more here.
Yes. PayPal charges us 2.2% + $0.30 per transaction. Here is a simple website to help you easily calculate this so you know exactly how much is being charged on any given amount. There is a also a tool on this website to show how much you would have to donate to make sure the amount you'd like to give to the church gets to the church. Make sure you have the non-profit option selected with the 2.2% fee rate option and go to "To receive this..." at the top menu.
Yes. There is an option during the donation check-out process to select a reoccurring monthly donation.
Yes. Please specify this in the box provided during the donation check-out process and the church treasurer will make sure it gets to the correct designated fund. If no fund is specified it will go to the general budget.
Yes. You will get an instant reply from PayPal through your email, but we will also give you a printed receipt at the end of the year for tax purposes.
If anything is confusing, or if you have any other questions or concerns about this process, feel free to contact the office and Jessica will be happy to help.
